A Fresh Venue for Office Parties

It’s getting to that time of year again when many northwestern businesses begin thinking about what to do for a holiday party. Many companies want to celebrate a successful year of hardworking employees, but the regular venues to hold holiday parties have become stale. Been having your holiday party in the same conference room for years? Or maybe this is the first time your office is holding a holiday party, and wants it to wow everyone.

Regardless of the reason, cruise ships are the best new venue for any type of party. Many lake cruise companies offer private charter cruises for parties, which allows you to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that guests won’t forget.

The on-the-water setting creates instant elegance without added hassle for the party host.

Besides the beauty of the cruise, the cruise company will have a catering staff on-hand that will take care of all details, including plates, napkins, and clean up. Many times, these teams of professionals can even help you choose a menu, making the event easy on both sides. The team will know what’s in season, what will fit the mood of your event, and what guests have loved in the past.

So when planning your company’s holiday party, consider using Coeur d’Alene Cruises chartered boats as a unique venue. Contact us today!

Sit back and relax on one of our Spokane River cruises

Welcome aboard one of the Northwest’s best summer attractions! At Coeur d’Alene Cruises, we do everything in our power to ensure our patrons receive the best possible cruising experience, stopping just short of controlling the weather to supply north Idaho with even more sunny summer days!

That’s why we’ve extended our cruises across the northwest. Our patrons can now tour the Spokane River on one of two weekly cruises.

The cruises host everything that our daily cruises offers, but in a new, exciting setting. Explore the unique landscape of the northwest along the river. The tour offers the chance to see wildlife such as native birds, water animals and even larger land animals like deer, elk and even the occasional black bear!

Our boats have comfortable indoor and outdoor areas, an experienced captain and a friendly crew to ensure your voyage is one of the best you’ve ever had.   For an additional $13 guests can also enjoy a delicious lunch.

Top safety tips for any kind of boating in the northwest

With summer just around the corner, we know that every excited boater in the northwest is starting to summerize their vessel, and get ready for spring cruises. We’re excited for the warm days, priceless sunsets over Lake Coeur d’Alene, and endless cruising around our north Idaho slice of heaven!

Even though we’re all excited, keep in mind that safety should always come first, whether you’re cruising with us at Coeur d’Alene Cruises or on your own around one of the many lakes in the northwest.

We’ve compiled some quick tips to help you stay safe this summer:

  1. Be weather-wise
If you’re hoping on your own boat or coming to cruise with us, always check weather reports first. We have a saying here in the northwest- if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes. And it’s true! Sometimes, spring and falls weather can change several times a day, going from sun to rain to even hail. Make sure that you pack rain jackets, non-slip gloves and hats just in case the weather turns sour, and always keep an eye on the sky for when you need to turn back to the marina, or go inside our cabin to enjoy one of our many specialty drinks!
  2. Follow all designated safety laws and posted signs
We all known that the safety brief is one of the most boring trips of the cruise. You want to get out on the water, see the eagles, or soak up some rays! However, safety is the most important part of the journey. It is always wise to know where lifejackets are and what emergency procedure is, just in case. Our crew is trained in any and every type of emergency situation, and we’ll take care of you no matter what.
  3. Use common sense
Staying safe doesn’t have to be a chore. If you think things through, and know the safety procedure, you’ll be sure to have a wonderful adventure that you won’t soon forget!
